We offer this release in 30 leather colors and multiple cloth options. We use the same source that Fritz Hansen uses for fabric-Gabriel of Denmark.

Arne Jacobsen designed the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, as well as many of the furnishings. For its busy lobby, he created the biomorphic Egg (1958) and Swan, which are believed to be the first swiveling upholstered chairs. The Egg Footstool has an eronomic curved shape that cradles the user's limbs. The upholstery is hand stitched to the shell with the same attention to detail found on the Egg Chair. The Footstool is especially useful for the connoisseur who likes to lean back and take advantage of the Egg Chair's tilting mechanism. Rather than pushing off the floor with your feet, the footstool elevates your feet and in turn, keeps you in a naturally tilted back position.

DWR sells the Fritz Hansen release of this unit for $1995. We offer this inspired reproduction of the original at a fraction of the price!

Materials: Molded fiberglass shell, die cast 4-star aluminum base, upholstered with Gabriel of Denmark fabric.
