Lievore Altherr Molina is a world class design firm that has a vast repertoire of services and clients under there belts, as it is composed of three very unique and different designers from various fields and backgrounds. The team consists of the original founder Alberto Lievore who first started the Alberto Lievore & Asociados firm way back in the mid 80s, as Lievore’s very own private firm, but then as the years passed and between 1989 and 1991 he had begun working with Jeannete Altherr and Manel Molina, but they officially formed the firm in 1991. So they had a substantial working past and had stronger ethics for the future, while Altherr a German designer and stylist, who had moved to Barcelona to initially go to school, later made it her place of residence just as Lievore. Whereas Manel Molina a Barcelona native had started working at the studio of Miguel Mila after school, but later joining and partnering the firm with the rest.

Lievore is a straightforward symbolic designer who captures the true nature of the object he is trying to portray into his designs seamlessly, as he strives to create fresh, crisp, essential designs that are also very functional, and is now considered a great of Spanish design. Molina is a strong designer with a bit of a flare for the unique and understated, as his designs bring a whole new meaning to practicality and utilization. Altherr is a cool, unnerved woman with style exuding and her passion for it all the time, and everything she creates, as three different personalities mesh to become one. They have done tremendous work in all aspects throughout Europe including Italy, Germany, and Spain, and has done a number of memorable pieces, such as the Lineal Lounge Chair, and for such furniture giants, such as Andreu World, Disform, Verzelloni, Donna, Prenatal, Lema, Arper, Do+Ce, Thonet, Foscarini, and Halifax, just to name a few. They also teach and give seminars at two of Barcelona’s biggest universities. They have had exhibitions worldwide including Cologne, Stockholm, Tokyo, Paris, Madrid, New York, Louisiana, Milan, and Lisbon just to name a few. The firm has been featured in many magazines throughout Europe, and has been given many awards and accolades including the Spanish National Design Award (1999), won FIM National Furniture
