His brand new furniture line, launching exclusively online at Velocity for fall 2005, combines expert attention to detail, timeless style, and heirloom quality rarely found in case goods today. The credenza and vanity series embody beauty, simplicity, and versatility. Each piece is offered in a wide range of finishes, options, and configurations so that you can customize your piece to perfectly fit your storage needs. Inspired by the strong architectural tradition of “designing the parts that make the whole” and legends such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Mies van der Rohe and Frank Gehry, Ryan brings his talents for elegant form and meticulously well-thought-out function to his signature furniture collection. He states, “the same issues at work in designing a space are equally fascinating to me in designing objects for that space. The materials are all the same, whether it’s a beautifully finished piece of architecture or a beautifully finished piece of furniture.
