This unit is not the low ball inferior chairs that you may notice on E-bay or Amazon. Most of the lower cost units are made out of inferior leather and/or leather match. Some foreign made sources will use Chinese pig leather and/or water buffalo materials. These hides will literally and figuratively, stink when you open the box. Many of the cheaper brands pay little attention to correct stitching, alignment, or frame positioning as well. Numerous budget lines use inexpensive frames that will fail over time. The results of such amount to a poorer unit that is an unacceptable reproduction
Our LC series seating units are true to the original in every, way, shape, and form to the original Le Corbusier standards. All of the bends are accurately done. Each bar is properly aligned and perfectly placed. The leather stitching is expertly done with careful detail to assignment and craft. All of the Dacron wrapped pillows are constructed out of high end multi –density materials. Each frame we use is imported to our factory and composed of high grade stainless steel metal.
